WELLNESS CARE If you have chronic pain, chances are you are medication dependent and have tried many treatments with no real lasting effects. It is quite possible that other health care professionals have told you that you have to learn to live with your problem. Our goal is to help you return to reduce your pain so you may resume an active lifestyle, an ESSENTIAL component to your recovery. Scientific studies suggest that a "fix it" approach does not work for chronic pain. Our approach to chronic pain is analogous to heart disease, obesity or diabetes. We help you learn how to control and cope with so you can be independent of passive care.

A step-by-step program

We gradually increase your activity so that your sensitive tissues can be nourished and strengthened. Then we will guide you step-by-step through a biomechanically safe program. You will learn "first-aid' measures for flare-ups so you will not fear or mind your pain so much. Most important, we will show you how to recondition your body, so that you can return to activity safely.

We believe that all of us have the power to recreate and rejuvenate ourselves into healthier, more active, more exuberant individuals. Here are the eight principles we employ to improve your enthusiasm, your stamina and your life. They all form the word:
R.E.C.R.E.A.T.E

Restoration:
Sleep and relaxation are essential to wellness.
Education:
Knowledge is power.
Commitment:
Clarity of what is required helps ensure your success.
Regimen:
Stay focused, stay on track.
Exercise:
Use principles from a wide variety of schools.
Alignment:
Maintaining the body’s structure prevents injury and enhances performance.
Total Diet and Nutrition:
Basic diet, supplements, herbal remedies, macro and micro nutrients.
Emotional Health:
Professional athletes have coaches to maintain focus and push them to higher levels. Staying positive is key when it becomes tempting to drop out.
