Work Reconditioning
The Work Reconditioning Program at TheHAWCC Clinic is a systematic program of progressive activities that recondition the person's musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, and psychomotor systems to prepare for return to work. This program includes job simulation (as well as the use of standardized equipment) to improve strength, endurance, and body mechanics to facilitate a gradual, safe and successful return to work. The program includes:
Work Conditioning

Usually appropriate for individuals whose injuries have occurred within the last 6 months. Work conditioning does not include vocational and psychological services.
Work Hardening
Multi-disciplinary approach with vocational and psychological services provided. Usually appropriate for individuals that have been out of work over 6 months and have multiple deficits that need to be addressed.
Impairment rating is a medical evaluation performed by a physician using the American Medical Association's Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment. The Guides is used to assess the individual's medical condition and its effect on function. The evaluation will estimate the degree to which the impairment decreases the individual's ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL).
